Get Involved in Residential Life

RHA and its fellow residential organizations offer opportunities for students to get involved in community service, sustainable housing, and student conduct.

Hall Association

Each unit has its own Hall Association that plans a wide variety of fun residential events, student advocacy programs, and philanthropic events every year! Each residence hall also contributes to voting for housing policies and bills passed through the Residence Hall Assembly.

Students interested in developing skills in programming/events, community building, student advocacy, leadership skills, and budget planning should consider joining RHA!

To join, contact your unit’s Resident Director:

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)

Our sister organization. The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is a leadership-based honorary comprised of exemplary residential students who value the two pillars of the Honorary: service and recognition. At UC Berkeley, members of NRHH recognize the hard work, time, dedication, and passion it takes to better the residential experience and residents’ lives. What is a NRHH?

The Peer Review Board (PRB)

The Peer Review Board was established to provide UC Berkeley residents the opportunity to participate in the Residential Conduct process. The PRB addresses inappropriate behavior through peer review, giving those under threat of academic misconduct the opportunity to be reviewed by their peers over Residential Staff. Board members maintain a high level of professional confidentiality, and make a sincere effort to teach students mutual respect and consideration for the rights of others.
