Director of finance

This pending position would oversee the training of incoming Hall Association Vice Presidents of Finance and facilitate the purchasing and reconciliation processes across all Hall Associations.

  • This position is currently under review and awaiting approval from the RHA General Assembly on March 31st.

  • The Director would be responsible for:

    • Coordinate with RHA and UC Berkeley Department of Residential Life to develop financial systems and procedures, manage the approval process, and oversee their implementation once approved.

    • Review all Hall Association purchase requests, ensure proper submission of receipts, and maintain financial accountability in line with university policies.

    • Support Hall Association Vice Presidents of Finance, streamline budgeting processes, and serve as the primary liaison to RHA’s Chief Financial Officer, university banking systems, and Residential Life.

  • A $4,000 stipend will be paid in four quarterly installments of $1,000 each over a 10-month term, from August 2025 to May 2026.

The Programming Assistant supports the RHA President, Chief Advocacy Officer, and Chief Programming Officer with various logistical and administrative tasks related to event-hosting and programming.

  • Programming assistants must live on campus for the 2025-2026 academic year.

  • Responsibilities include coordinating venue reservations, communicating with vendors, organizing event materials, and ensuring clear and accurate information to all involved parties, partners, and volunteers.

  • A $4,000 stipend will be paid in four quarterly installments of $1,000 each over a 10-month term, from August 2025 to May 2026.
