Director of finance
This new position oversees the training of incoming Hall Association Vice Presidents of Finance and facilitates the purchasing and reconciliation processes across all Hall Associations.

1. Good with communication, especially through emails, messages, and other modes.
2. Familiarity with financial systems and statements, especially the ASUC Finance Callink procedures
3. Organized and punctual; cognizant of deadlines and high attention to detail.

The Director would be responsible for:
Coordinate with RHA and UC Berkeley Department of Residential Life to develop financial systems and procedures, manage the approval process, and oversee their implementation once approved.
Review all Hall Association purchase requests, ensure proper submission of receipts, and maintain financial accountability in line with university policies.
Support Hall Association Vice Presidents of Finance, streamline budgeting processes, and serve as the primary liaison to RHA’s Chief Financial Officer, university banking systems, and Residential Life.

A $4,000 stipend will be paid in four quarterly installments of $1,000 each over a 10-month term, from August 2025 to May 2026.
programming assistant
The Programming Assistant supports the RHA President, Chief Advocacy Officer, and Chief Programming Officer with various logistical and administrative tasks related to event-hosting and programming.

Programming assistants must live on campus for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The following qualifications are not required but preferred:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally correspond via email, messaging platforms, and other communication tools when working with vendors, venues, and internal teams.
Experience coordinating venue reservations and navigating event logistics, including working with EH&S or similar services for insurance and compliance requirements.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple event timelines, track deadlines, and ensure all moving parts are executed accurately and on schedule.
