Who We Are

RHA operates through a multi-tiered leadership framework designed to empower resident voices and allocate resources where they matter most.

We are structured across two core operational bodies:

  • The Executive Board: Comprising the President, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Communications Officer, Chief Advocacy Officer, Chief Programming Officer, and Chief External Relations Officer, this team manages our central budget. They oversee large-scale residential funding, fulfill supplemental grant requests from Resident Advisors (RAs), and guide top-level campus initiatives.

  • Hall Associations: Specialized, unit-level leadership teams (including Presidents, VPs of Marketing, Finance, Programming, and Philanthropy) and Hall Representatives that manage hyper-local budgets to build distinct cultures within their respective halls.

Committees

To connect our residence halls with central leadership, each Hall Association sends 3–5 designated Representatives to collaborate weekly with the Executive Board across 5 specialized branches:

  • Internal Affairs (Executive Vice President)

  • Finance (Chief Financial Officer)

  • Communications (Chief Communications Officer)

  • Advocacy (Chief Advocacy Officer)

  • Programming (Chief Programming Officer)

  • External Relations (Chief External Relations Officer)

General Assembly Meetings

The General Assembly is composed of representatives from each of our eight units, with the number of representatives based on the population of each unit. These representatives are responsible for voting on new legislation, reviewing sponsorship requests, and leading many of RHA’s advocacy initiatives, events, and projects.

The General Assembly meets every Monday from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

Governing documents

The Residence Hall Assembly (RHA) operates under its Constitution, which serves as the foundation of the organization. We adhere strictly to the Constitution in all our operations. The Bylaws provide detailed guidance on specific procedures, and any legislation passed by the Assembly is either incorporated into these documents or stored in a separate folder for reference.
